THE PROBLEM

Installation and setup processes of Enterprise Products at Huawei require time consuming operations that rely on highly skilled workers and usually generate a lot of errors.

THE CHALLENGE

To make the installation and the set up process more efficient while at the same time allowing less skilled workers or new hires to perform like experts. Inglobe was hired by Huawei to help the Technical Communication Innovation and Best Practices Department in the US with two Product Lines in China (Industrial Inverters and UPS) in this challenge.

THE SOLUTION

We got Inglobe to deliver Hyperindustry – Inglobe’s industry 4.0 solution that we have designed and managed for a few years –  to Huawei On Premise to serve internal and third party installers through Huawei’s IT infrastructure worldwide. The solution allowed the Technical Documentation Team to quickly create AR instructions to be delivered on Mobiles. Hyperindustry is a zero-coding platform that relies on 3D Object Recognition and Tracking as well as on a variety of digital assets to digitally transform training and operations.

THE RISKS

All development, delivery and testing had to be made remotely with Teams located in different regions of the Globe. Contents had to be delivered to workers via the Enterprise IT infrastructure at Huawei in China.

RESULTS AND BENEFITS

Through our solution we have allowed the two Product Lines deliver the AR Instructions  to thousands of installers worldwide via a Mobile App thus reducing operational errors, execution time and cost.
